VortexLC Concludes with a Strong Final Showcase at POCT 2026
POCT 2026 marked the grand closing event of the VortexLC project, celebrating years of innovation, collaboration, and scientific progress in the field of point-of-care technologies. 🌟
During the event, the VortexLC consortium hosted a dedicated booth to showcase the project’s achievements, share its vision for the future of decentralized diagnostics, and engage with the international POCT community through inspiring discussions and knowledge exchange.
The conference provided an excellent platform to highlight the project’s scientific contributions through three poster presentations: • Active dispersion control in polymeric chips for Point-of-Care Testing — presented by Ilyesse Bihi • SERS detection module for point-of-care identification of hemoglobin variants in diabetes management — presented by Sara Abbasi • Improvement of a polymer Vortex Liquid Chromatography chip using AC-electroosmotic flow in tapered microchannels for point-of-care testing — presented by Dariush Bahrami
In addition, our consortium partner Katrien Lanckmans moderated the session “Challenges and advances in POCT technologies,” contributing to important discussions on the future of innovative diagnostic solutions.
As the final dissemination event of VortexLC, POCT 2026 was a meaningful moment to reflect on the project’s impact, strengthen collaborations, and celebrate the collective efforts of everyone involved throughout this journey.
A sincere thank you to all partners, researchers, collaborators, and visitors who contributed to the success of VortexLC and joined us during this final milestone event. 🚀🔬
